I’m working with a well established organisation on a Full-Stack Engineer opportunity, joining a team that is modernising its digital platforms and moving towards a more scalable, cloud-based technology environment. It’s a hands-on role with a good mix of development, integrations and platform modernisation, with the opportunity to have a genuine impact on how their digital estate evolves over the coming years.
Your experience
- 4+ years’ commercial experience in full-stack software development.
- Strong experience with React, TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience with Node.js and building/working with REST APIs.
- Good understanding of Azure and cloud-based services, ideally including Azure Functions.
- Comfortable working with integrations and connecting different applications and platforms.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including Git, CI/CD and automated testing.
- Experience working on platform upgrades, migrations or modernisation projects would be beneficial.
- Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- You don't need to have every technology listed — strong core development skills and the ability to learn are more important.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and enhance modern web applications and digital experiences.
- Build, consume and maintain APIs and integrations between business systems.
- Support the ongoing migration and modernisation of existing digital platforms.
- Work with Azure services to monitor, manage and improve integrations.
- Develop clean, maintainable and secure code, with appropriate automated testing.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, releases and production support.
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external technology partners across different platforms.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing systems, processes and the overall digital experience.
