Location: Galway, hybrid working 
Contract length: 12 months, €450-€550/day, extensions expected

Senior Java Developer, long term contracting role.

You'll help design and build high-throughput systems for a fintech business in Galway. You’ll get exposure to some heavy areas of financial services in a modern tech driven environment.

This is a great opportunity for a Senior Java developer seeking a long-term contracting role within an organisation that’s heavily investing in modern technologies and innovative approaches.

 

Desired Skills

  • 5+ years Java development experience, comfortable working across Spring / Spring Boot microservices etc.
  • Experience developing high-throughput applications, ideally leveraging Kafka or other messaging technologies.
  • Experience developing and supporting enterprise-scale, distributed applications across cloud environments, ideally with a good understanding of AWS and hands-on exposure to containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Exposure / experience with TypeScript and Angular is a nice to have.
  • Curiosity about AI-driven efficiencies and a knack for proposing smarter ways to build
