My client is looking for an experienced Cyber Security and Vulnerability Manager for a full time permanent position. The role is based in Dublin and is a hybrid role, requiring you to be on site twice per week. The role is offering a salary of up to €100,000 and numerous benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and run vulnerability scans, analyze findings, and propose solutions.
- Collaborate with teams to address vulnerabilities and ensure timely resolutions.
- Implement security measures like patching, controls, and process improvements.
- Identify and mitigate false positive results.
- Generate and present security metrics and reports.
- Inform stakeholders about security risks and provide insights.
- Develop user-friendly security dashboards and reports.
- Evaluate data sources for effective reporting.
- Provide IT governance metrics and insights.
- Manage vulnerability tracking and remediation efforts.
- Recommend policy and procedural updates for improved security.
- Validate effectiveness of remediation actions.
- Review and interpret technical documentation.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Define project scopes and objectives, ensuring technical feasibility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications preferred.
- Understanding of access controls, authentication, encryption, and security principles.
- Proficiency in Linux, Windows, Active Directory, VPNs, and network security tools.
- Experience with vulnerability scanners, patch management, and security systems.
