IT Support Engineer End Client Support

  • Fully on-site (one single client)
  • Dublin 22 Location - Candidates must be based in Dublin area and hold full working rights
  • €55k-€60k/year + benefits & professional growth

This is a hands-on role where you'll be building strong client relationships while delivering exceptional IT support, playing a key role in the day-to-day management of the client’s IT environment. 

You will also be working closely with internal Level 3 engineers and project teams, contribute to incident resolution, system documentation, and process adherence, while continuously identifying opportunities to improve services, optimise systems, and mitigate operational risks.

Your Role:

  • Deliver onsite Level 2 IT support in a dedicated client environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across hardware, software, systems, and networking.
  • Support and administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Azure Active Directory.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and security configurations.
  • Coordinate with internal Level 3 support engineers and project delivery teams.
  • Maintain accurate system documentation, incident logs, and operational processes.
  • Follow and contribute to company procedures and service delivery standards over time.
  • Develop strong working relationships with client stakeholders and departmental leaders.
  • Conduct regular service reviews and provide updates on system and support performance.
  • Identify opportunities for service enhancement, optimisation, and risk reduction.
  • Ensure technology solutions support and align with business goals.
  • Contribute to IT planning, lifecycle management, and roadmap discussions.

Your Experience:

  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a Level 2 IT Support role or a similar technical support position.
  • Strong practical experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Solid understanding of:
    • Windows 10/11
    • Active Directory & Azure Active Directory
    • Exchange Online
    • SharePoint & Teams administration
    • Endpoint management (Intune experience preferred)
    • Networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
  • Previous experience working within an MSP environment is considered desirable.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Confidence explaining technical concepts clearly to non-technical users and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Professional presence appropriate for engagement with executive-level contacts.
  • Highly organised with excellent documentation and record-keeping skills.
  • Relevant third-level qualification in Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Industry certifications are highly desirable (Microsoft 365 Certified (Associate or Expert level), ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Network+ / Security+, Microsoft Azure certifications)
